Expedition Appalachia 2025 was a three-day overlanding adventure through the scenic and historic landscapes of West Virginia, held from May 16–18, 2025. Organized by the Overlander Project, the event brought together 27 rigs and a diverse group of adventurers to explore the state's rich coal mining heritage, breathtaking natural beauty, and challenging off-road trails.

Led by volunteer guide Jerry Bain, who possesses extensive knowledge of West Virginia's history, the expedition emphasized camaraderie, exploration, and a deep appreciation for the region's past and present. The event also included social hours with various beverages, fostering connections among participants.
